Google Classroom
Developed by Google for educational institutions, Google Classroom is a free blended learning tool that makes creating, distributing, and grading assignments easier. Google Classroom’s main objective is to make file sharing between professors and students more efficient. Google Classroom will have 150 million users by 2021.
To manage communication between students and teachers, Google Classroom incorporates a number of Google Applications for Education. Students can be automatically imported from a school domain or invited to join a class using a secret code. Each class makes a unique folder on the user’s Google Drive where students can turn in assignments to be graded by instructors. By looking at the modification history of a document, teachers may keep track of each student’s development. After grading, teachers can return work with comments and grades.
