Acrobat Reader
Adobe Acrobat is a group of software programs and online resources created by Adobe Inc. for viewing, editing, managing, and printing Portable Document Format (PDF) files.
Acrobat Reader (formerly Reader), Acrobat (previously Exchange), and Acrobat.com are all members of the family. The fundamental Acrobat Reader is freeware and facilitates viewing, printing, and annotating PDF files. It is accessible on many desktop and mobile platforms. There are more “Premium” services that can be accessed for a fee. Only available for Microsoft Windows and macOS, the commercial proprietary Acrobat can also generate, edit, convert, digitally sign, encrypt, export, and publish PDF files. With a range of enterprise content management and file storage options, Acrobat.com completes the family.
